also, there was a wall filled with a collection of (opium?) pipes which added a unique touch to the room. It is a very "clubby" atmosphere with the music and giant buddha. The fried rice was way better than my steak! The atmosphere lived up to the hype and we instantly felt cooler than we are when we were in the restaurant. The fried rice was excellent with its fresh vegetables, delicately fragranced jasmine rice and high quality chinese barbequed pork. I noted the fish was warmer than my steak! We also ordered some pork fried rice to accompany our meal. The one bite I had of my husband's fish was enjoyable though a little heavy on the miso-glaze for such a delicate fish as sea bass. I guess I should've ordered something more "Asian". My steak came and was barely warm and lacking in flavor (I guess that was wasabi which was on top of my steak, but you wouldn't know it by the taste or lack of). Yum! For the entree, I ordered the WAsabi Crusted Filet and my husband had the miso-glazed sea bass, the two items which were recommended by our waiter.

The sauce which covered the dumplings was spicy and tangy and the dumplings were soft but crispy. Our appetizer was the pork potstickers which were very good. We ate here our 2nd night in Vegas after having an extraordinary meal the first night, and this was a disappointment. We also got some complimentary mini donuts and Buda-shaped chocolates Will be back!

Dished around $200 plus tip for the two of us. Must have this when you go, so good and so much fun! Really nice dinner, highly recommend the atmosphere (got a little louder as we were leaving), service and food. Also a lot of fruit around it and the fortune papers of course. The highlight of the dinner was the giant fortune cookie dessert that came with fireworks! Half of it filled with cream, the other with chocolate mousse. The only dissapointment of the evening was the shrimp tempura app we ordered for my son.It was not good at all, really greasy and not executed well. Ordered the sauce on the side and this was a good decision as it was good but a little strong so having it on the side allowed us to put as much or as little as we wanted. One a chef's roll that was great and the other one a shrimp tempura roll with curry sauce. Then we ate the Peking duck for two ($68) which was really great and not as fatty as others we have had before, some fried rice which was also quite nice despite the fact that there was so much going on on the plate you could hardly find the rice.

We started with some lobster wontons in a nice sauce to die for and some pork and vegetable samosas (turnovers) with a sweet chili sauce. Anyway our server was very nice and our food was amazing. I always think that some places claim to not allow strollers due to security reasons but then will allow wheelchairs that are larger in size. Together with nicely dressed people also some in swimwear which we thought was a bit odd. We did notice very few children here but some nonetheless. The restaurant is absolutely amazingly decorated and a nice treat to a young couple like us that cannot go out too much to these kind of restaurants and now goes to more kid-friendly places. A friend told us to try Tao as she always goes with her your children at an early time. With two small kids we try to avoid trendy expensive restaurants on the Strip.
